The estimator produces an approximate range from Google's aerial survey of your roof, thirty years of Columbia weather data, and current Dominion rates. It is not a quote, a contract, or a guarantee of production or savings. Your real number comes from a site assessment and twelve months of your bills. Actual results vary with rates, usage, weather, and equipment.

Information about the South Carolina credit, the expired federal credit, and net metering is general information, not tax advice. The state credit is nonrefundable and only helps to the extent you owe South Carolina income tax. Confirm your situation with a licensed tax professional.

Use the site for your own, non-commercial evaluation of solar for your property. Do not scrape, overload, or attempt to abuse the estimator or its underlying data services.

We work to keep figures current and dated, but rules and rates change. Where a page shows a reviewed date, that is when the figures on it were last checked.
